Battery Question (trolling motor)?

I just bought a used 15ft bass boat with 45 lb thrust 12v trolling motor. Currently there is only one battery. I'm going to buy another battery for the trolling motor. The question is should the trolling motor be the only thing I connect to the new battery? what about the running lights and live well aerator?
