My window's 7 task bar won't work ?

Okay so I bought the Sony vaio L series and when i use it for a few hours it works fine then all the sudden my bottom task bar stop working and i can't click on anything but the start button on the keyboard still works and then on google chrome when i right click and left click on the tabs they exit out someone please help me fix this problem please its very frustrating.
