Baby shower for my 3rd child?

I am pregnant with our third child, which i first 2 a girl. We have 2 boys, ages 3 and 2. I have all the big stuff - but I will need alot of smaller things. during my first 2 pregnancies my husband was in the military and we werent close to any family or many close friends, so I never had a baby shower with my first 2. My mom and my sister are excited about throwing me one, but Im not sure how OK it would be. We're considering doing a baby sprinkle instead, because all I really need is girls clothes, bibs and whatnot - but I dont want to come off as tacky, either.
